Now it is your chance to try the NetAdventure Estimator Simulation for decimals. Try the game and post your scores that you had at each of the eight levels. Each level gets progressively more challenging! Say something about what you had to think about to determine the location of the fruit and how the method differed from that used for integers.

Clue 1

This game keeps getting harder as you get better. This version concentrates on the art of estimation with decimals. First giving you scales that start with zero and end with 1. But once you can estimate those, it gives you scales that start with zero and end with 0.1, have variable scales, and then negative numbers. The final level requires you to identify the location to the hundredths position.

Clue 2

Since the simulation is set to place the fruit randomnly, try the levels again to see if you can improve your score. Was it easier the second time around? Why?
